China News Service, Shanghai News, May 14th, Danone Nutricia's high-end milk powder brand Aptamil (Aptamil) held a new product launch conference on the 11th with the theme of "Decrypting the nutritional needs of sensitive babies". The Hong Kong version of Aptamil Platinum Hypoallergenic 3 officially met with domestic consumers. The product relies on Nutricia's strong scientific research strength and has the formula of the patented combination SYNEO ™ and hydrolyzed protein, which is designed for sensitive babies.
Early life is a critical period for the development of the intestinal immune system and flora. Due to a number of factors, the number of sensitive babies worldwide is gradually increasing. About 2% -5% of infants and young children develop milk protein allergies within the first year of life. "Choosing nutrition containing prebiotics and probiotics for sensitive babies will help babies establish a more stable intestinal microecology and respond to allergies in a timely manner," said Nikolaos Papadopoulos, an international paediatric expert, at the press conference.
The patent portfolio SYNEO ™ consists of two components: "Bifidobacterium breve M-16V" and "NuMMOs?". NuMMOs ™ has more than 100 structures, mimicking breast milk oligosaccharides, which is conducive to promoting the growth of beneficial bacteria; Bifidobacterium breve M-16V, which is a beneficial bacteria naturally present in the intestines of healthy babies. The two ingredients promote each other and help the baby have a more comfortable belly.
In addition, through the hydrolysis process, the Hong Kong version of Aitamei Platinum Edition Hypoallergenic 3 decomposes the larger milk protein molecules to form mild small molecule peptides, which stimulate the baby's self-protection.
Gregg Ward, director of health nutrition and research innovation for greater China at Danone Nutricia, says: "'Bringing health to as many people as possible through food' is Danone's mission, and we want to provide better nutrition solutions to help Chinese parents nurture infants and young children, so that every day is exciting."
In the "Decoding Nutrition Needs" roundtable forum at the press conference, researchers from Danone Nutricia and industry experts discussed the changing trends of nutritional needs at home and abroad in recent years. In China, according to the statistics of the "Epidemiological Survey of Infant Allergy in China Cities" initiated by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention Maternal and Child Health Center, the proportion of infants and young children whose parents under the age of 2 reported that they had or were experiencing symptoms of allergic diseases was as high as 40.9%, and the total prevalence of allergic diseases in infants and young children under the age of 2 was 12.3%.
In order to help Chinese parents solve the problem of feeding sensitive babies, Danone Nutricia and Lilac Garden have jointly launched the "Love Him Not Afraid of Sensitivity" project, and launched interesting and rich online interactive science courses on the Lilac Garden platform. Zhang Wei, vice-president of Lilac Garden, said: "Through cooperation, we hope to help consumers better understand their needs and find nutritional solutions that suit them. Together with Danone Nutricia, we can better serve Chinese parents."
